We Are Untold produce creative projects that contribute to a more inclusive and diverse understanding of the multifaceted experiences that shape our world.
Untold stories that revolutionise our society- drawing lessons from our past, informing our present and transforming our future.
Their projects are designed to captivate, inspire, and provoke thoughtful reflection, weaving narratives through visual arts, performance and multimedia expressions that enrich our cultural tapestry.
Through creative exploration they challenge selective stories and stereotypes, advocating for societal evolution where collective stories are recognised, valued, and embedded in our culture, society, and history.

Women of Gold is a multimedia project showcasing the stories and contributions of women in the City of Greater Bendigo. Six local artists bring the untold stories of women, out of the shadows and into the light. These diverse stories illuminate the richness and complexity of women’s perspectives. We ignite conversation and recognition of the underrepresentation of women in art and the resulting barriers, invisibility, silence, and impact this has on society.
